About me

I’m a Deaf award-winner multidisciplinary artist born and raised in Venezuela and based in Rochester, NY. As a multidisciplinary artist I specialize in Photography, Graphic Design and Filmmaking.

I obtained my BFA in Photographic and Imaging Arts with focus in Visual Media from Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT), where I’m currently a staff and a MFA student in Film Production, in which I seek to enhance my cinematography and directing skills.

My different intersectionalities such as being Latino, immigrant, Deaf, christian, etc. have been a way to share my visual vivid perspective with the world, which aims to make emphasis on emotional impact.

I moved to NYC from Venezuela in summer 2012, with just two luggages on hand, and it was there, in the big apple where I started my journey as photographer and got immersed in the artistic world.

A couple of fun facts about me: I know 4 languages (English, Spanish, American Sign Language -ASL- and Venezuelan Sign Language -LSV-) and I have been to almost every country in South America.

In my free time I like going on photography walks, latin dancing, watching movies and spending time with my loved ones.
